Richmond, VA June 2017 – Bruce Peacock and The Manufacturing Search Division of The Richmond Group USA (TRG) are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of a Manager, Mechanical Design search for one of the world’s top custom automation companies. This rapidly growing organization has recently added technical resources to their team and, as part of their succession plan, needed a technical manager to join their leadership team. The Mechanical Design Manager will lead a large team of degree Mechanical Engineers who are responsible for designing and developing custom automated machinery and solutions for various manufacturing industries.

Working closely with the VP Engineering and Director of Human Resources, we took on the challenge of finding a degreed Technical Manager with strong leadership skills and significant experience managing larger custom automation / machine design projects. A national search was conducted to uncover and attract a pool of qualified Managers.

We identified a dynamic Technical Manager with over 15 years of experience leading and managing Mechanical Design Engineers in developing machine concepts and designing custom automation systems. This placement provides our client company with a proven Technical Manager of Engineers, who spent the last 11 years leading engineering teams in designing customized machinery for another global manufacturer.
